The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals age 55 and over to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Older Worker Career Center (NOWCC). Duties: Incumbent shall assist the On-Scene Coordinator (OSC) in the development of independent government cost estimates (IGCE) by reviewing Statements of Work and related documents for environmental remediation and restoration projects. Uses data in Removal Cost Management System (RCMS) and information provided by OSCs to perform market survey of potential vendors and gather documentation of estimated cost.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in procurement, business, accounting OR BA/BS Degree in Strong background in mathematics, accounting or similar number-oriented, detail-driven disciplines. Previously completed training in cost accounting
