Chemical Engineer Support

Wage/Hr: $15.00 Hours/Week: 40 Minimum Age: 55

Duties:

Provide technical input on deliverable developed by chemical engineers and/or assist in development of approaches, models and tools for assessing workplace exposures and environmental releases of new and existing chemicals throughout their lifecycle.

  • Develop/review approaches, models and tools for assessing workplace exposures and environmental releases of new and existing chemicals 25%
  • Provide technical support to risk evaluations and/or rulemaking activities, including research and evaluation of technical information. 20%
  • Review and provide input on risk evaluations 25%
  • Participate in ChE Tech Team and provide input and support on specific projects 20%
  • Provide support to other risk assessment related activities in the division 10%

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Environmental science OR BA/BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering

  • Experience required with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Fax, Copying Machine
