Clean Water Program Administrative Support Level 3

This position is funded for 9 months, may be extended if budget allows. Acts as administrative support for the Clean Water Branch including record keeping duties, administrative document review/proofreading, mailing/document routing preparation, Quality Check (QC) of database entry, assistance with training/meeting logistical preparation, and performing other daily support and information gathering functions.

  • Primary administrative support for the Wastewater Section including record keeping duties, QC checks of information entered into ICIS database for consistency, assistance with NPDES training/meeting logistical preparation, mail preparation, daily office support and information gathering functions, document review/proofreading to ensure that written materials conform to EPA style and format and that program documents/correspondence are reviewed, signed, copied, and filed appropriately and in a timely manner; route official correspondence for correct signature and review. Other administrative duties as assigned. 80%
  • Provide support to all Clean Water Branch programs including mail preparation, route official correspondence for correct signature and review, and document review/proofreading to ensure written materials conform to EPA style and format. 20%


AA Degree in General studies OR Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Administrative office duties. Previously completed training in Windows applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point), Outlook

  • Computer skills, proficiency in writing and typing.
  • Outlook; proficient with all programs and operations.


  • Some training on Windows applications/software offered occasionally.
