Duties:

This position supports our Statistician Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) Coordinator. This position reviews and approves Information collection request packages before they are forwarded on eventually to Office Management and Budget (OMB) for final clearance. The ideal candidate we are looking for needs to be a statistician that will review the submitted packages for completeness, for statistical soundness (mainly for studies with Part B), will check logic and review survey questions, will review estimated burden hours and have expertise as a mathematics or survey statistician. • This position reviews and assists with approval of Information collection request packages before they are submitted to Office Management and Budget (OMB) for final clearance and the Paperwork Reduction Act(PRA) Coordinator. 50%
• Ensures movement of documents through the revision and clearance process, including ensuring the accuracy of documents required for the approval of clearance under the paperwork reduction act. This includes assisting with and helping to prioritize between various competing clearances by working with economists, technical staff, and clearance officials; and helping move the submissions through the multi-Agency approval; and assisting with the review of the final packages before submission. 50%

Qualifications:

MA/MS Degree

• • Experienced with OMB Paperwork Reduction Act
• • Understanding the information collection request packages
• • Experience reviewing statistical and survey studies
• • Knowledge and familiarity with OMB Statistical Policy Directives
• Experience required with Windows, MS Word
