The Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program offers unique opportunities in Scientific, Technical, and Administrative / Office support for individuals age 55 and over to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a grant administered program through National Experienced Workforce Solutions ( NEW Solutions). This is a unique program where your talents, expertise and experience will truly be valued. You'll be working side-by-side with EPA staff that are doing important work every day. Pay rate: $16.20/hr. Benefits: Paid Health Insurance Premium if working 60+ hours in a 2 week pay period, Paid Accrued Vacation, Paid Accrued Sick Time, Eleven Paid Federal Holidays, One Individual Holiday, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available. This position does require a background check prior to onboarding. Must be a United States Citizen to be eligible for this position.


Responsible for analyzing travel documents, interpreting and applying travel regulations & policies as they apply to all divisions in EPA - Region 7. Prepares travel documents and maintains all associated systems and files. Makes travel arrangements for travelers. Provides training and guidance to others concerning travel requirements.

  • Analyzes and applies travel regulations and policies and prepares travel documents and makes travel arrangements accordingly 45%
  • Analyzes data, develops spreadsheets and other electronic files and graphs, develops templates for use by the Region. Reviews and maintains program files and ensures completeness of documents. 35%
  • Maintains associated files and associated tracking systems. Informs and provides guidance to travelers concerning travel requirements. Participates in audits of travel documents. 20%


Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Office/Business Management Administration, Conferences, Conventions & Travel OR AA Degree OR Previously completed training in Concur, GovTrip, Travel Manager

  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook
  • Concur, GovTrip Travel Manager
